1991 James L Trimble Aero Bike - One the first Aerobikes built from Carbon by James L Trimble, and surely a small production run and thus quite rare. According to some sources this bike scored incredibly well in old wind tunnel tests and rivals that of modern designs for TT bikes. This is no surprise since the frame is one big surface much like a disc wheel. I sure it is a bit unrulely to ride in a cross wind though! That said, a bike just like this one was ridden to as second place in the Race Across America bake in 1989.
Check out the hinged door to allow for cable access and storage of an extra tube or pump. Bet you've never seen a bike with a hinged door in the frame before!
